The Founder and Unique Vision

The man behind IUAPE is Scott William Liston, an entrepreneur with extensive experience in product design and development. Scott has always been fascinated by the intersection of classical art and complex mechanisms. He is both a business leader and a deep admirer of intellectual games and modern, minimalist design.

Scott decided to launch IUAPE with Decorative Puzzles based on a profound observation: “In a digitized world, we need beautiful, tangible objects to interact with.” He wanted to create products that are not just an entertaining challenge but also a sculptural piece, a refined artistic accent on a bookshelf or desk.

The Journey of Transformation (2024–2025)

The launch of IUAPE was a meticulous and passionate process:

1. Idea Formation Stage: Scott began by researching sustainable materials like high-quality hardwood and precision-machined metal alloys. He designed core products such as the Ceres Orbit and Constantinople Metal Padlock, ensuring they had complex puzzle mechanisms while maintaining a high level of aesthetic appeal.
2. Building a Quality Supply Chain: The major challenge was finding partners who could meet the demands for mechanical precision. Scott established partnerships with reputable US suppliers, such as The Wood Database (TWD), to secure sustainable and quality wood sources. He also collaborated with specialized metal workshops, strictly controlling the cutting process using advanced Laser/CNC technology.
3. Brand Identity and Launch: After solidifying product quality, Scott developed the Planetary Collection featuring items like Ganymede and Neptune, establishing a distinct style and brand narrative. IUAPE officially launched in 2025, ready to bring this novel puzzle experience to the market.

After selecting premium raw materials from trusted suppliers, our exquisite crafting process begins with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) to ensure the perfect fit of every component. The wood and metal are then cut using state-of-the-art Laser/CNC cutting technology.

Finally, the products undergo Hand Finishing. Details are meticulously assembled, hand-polished, and treated with non-toxic natural oils. This attention to detail ensures that every piece not only has flawless mechanics but also possesses superior aesthetic value and lasting durability.
